Photography has been part of my life since I was a teenager photographing for my hometown newspaper in Northeast Pennsylvania. What began there grew into a career that has taken me from professional and Olympic sports to corporate assignments, portraits, families and the everyday moments that often become the most meaningful.

Along the way, I've had the opportunity to photograph celebrities, professional athletes, and Olympic competition for clients including Sports Illustrated, as well as executives, and people from all walks of life. No matter the assignment, I've always been drawn to the same thing—people, relationships and real moments.

Today, my photography is focused on creating images that mean something beyond the day they were made. Whether I'm photographing a family, the relationship between someone and their dog, a high school senior or an athlete in competition, I want the photographs to feel honest, personal and lasting.

I'm also a husband, father of two, and share our home with a Golden Retriever and a cat—so it's probably no surprise that animals have become such an important part of my work.

While I've spent a large portion of my life behind a camera, I still believe some of the most important photographs are the ones whose value we don't fully understand until years later.

Someday this will be everything.
