I Never Want to be Without Pets in my Life...
I absolutely LOVE animals and no offense, but I prefer being around animals than most people on some days. Animals play such an important role in our daily lives and I cannot imagine life without them. It doesn't matter how bad of a day you're having or what is going on in your life, pets have a way of making everything better. They bring such an enormous amount of love into our lives in the far too short amount of time they are with us.
The following quote from an unknown author says it so well:
"Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog. It merely expands the heart."

My Animal and Pet Photography Process

As with my portrait work, everything I do is done on location, so I will either come to your home or we can meet at a mutually agreed upon location. Unlike many photographers, my work is not contingent on the sun shining as I will often supplement natural light with wireless studio strobes. Ideally, I love the the dog (or animal) to be in a comfortable environment. This can be at home, a regular location where you go for a walk or ride in the car, or honestly anything that brings out their best emotions and energy. One of my specialties is capturing the true relationship between you and your pet and I love showing that incredible bond.
If you're ready to book a session, I'll want to know as much as possible about your special 4-legged family member and of course what you're wanting to capture in these images. For instance, as with my traditional (human) portrait photography, I strive to capture their true personality and beauty. This can be simple tight portraits, a game of fetch or likely all of the above. I want the images to be timeless and immediately take you back to all the amazing memories you've had with your furry friend and the ones yet to come. Sadly, the time we have with our pets is far too short, but the love and memories that can be created now are priceless. Please don't have regrets...
More Pet Session Information and Details...
My sessions have no time limit, but generally range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, but if we're having fun and getting amazing images, it could last even longer. My sessions are customized to your special pet(s), but the whole family is encouraged and welcomed to be included.
Each session requires a $175 fee to confirm your session and this is non-refundable.
Following the session, I will cull down the images but you will have a wide selection (generally 40-60) solid images to choose from. I offer a 100% guarantee of your complete satisfaction, so if your pet is not comfortable and things are not working out (has not happened yet!) , I will redo the session or refund your money, no questions asked. I promise that you will have a large enough selection of images for a beautifully designed album, coffee table book or custom wall art designed specifically for your home.
